To use the VicRoads Electronic Maps with OziExplorer follow the setup instructions below.

1. You must have version 3.904g or later of OziExplorer which can be downloaded (free for registered users) from www.oziexplorer.com
    
2. Load the VicRoads CD #1 into the CD drive (the following assumes this is drive Z:)
    
3. Within OziExplorer choose:
       File -> Import Map -> All DRG Maps on CD which should bring up a dialogue looking like:
   
    
    
4. Select the Open Folder Icon on the first line
    
5. Navigate down the folders on the VicRoads CD 1 until you get to the Images Directory:
   
   
    
6. Select the Images folder and click OK.
    
7. Tab to the Map File Path and select an appropriate directory within OziExplorer. You should now have a dialogue box that looks like:
   
   
    
8. Press Import and the next dialogue box should appear:
   
   
    
9. Make sure VICMAP-TM is selected on the Map Projection and press OK
   
   Note: If you are using a VicRoads CD dated after 1/8/02 and before V5 select VICGRID
    
10. If all is well, you should get a dialogue box like:
    
    
     
11. Check your work by searching for a known location in Victoria (eg Lake ) in Ozi's Name Search Facility
