Item 2 (Road Angel Evo)EVO - no longer available

EVO features Road Sense, Australia's only constantly updated national database of
road safety hazards. EVO is pre-loaded with Road Sense Core Road Safety (CRS)
locations that includes national coverage of:

School safety zones to warn drivers to slow down during school times, on school
days
Accident black spot areas to alert drivers when approaching crash locations
Traffic safety cameras
- including speed, red light, average point-to-point and bus lane cameras
Country town speed limits on major highways warning drivers to slow down from highway to town speeds
Dangerous railway crossings
Drivers can set their own hazard areas
- speed limit locations
- over-speed alerts
- stop, revive, survive driver fatigue rest timer alert

In driver assist mode, EVO uses satellite signals to receive and calculate a vehicles
position every second. It tells the driver exactly how fast they are travelling in a
constantly displayed, highly accurate Global Positioning System (GPS) speedo. EVO also
shows in it’s display either the time as received from the satellite system or
a compass indicating the direction of travel.

EVO’s voice assistance is provided by either ‘Jenny’ a female safety assistant or
Australian motoring legend Peter Brock, who give spoken alerts to drivers warning
them well in advance of approaching hazard locations, such as traffic safety cameras
or school safety zones.

As driver’s approach hazards, EVO switches to safety assist mode to give both spoken
and visual alerts. On approach the display changes colour from blue to red, a hazard
icon and speed limit are alternately shown as well as proximity bars and a warning
tone, that tells a driver how close they are, increase. At the hazard location all five
bars are displayed and the LCD flashes red while playing the warning tone. Drivers
need only glance or listen to EVO to ascertain how far away they are from hazard
locations and the speed limit at the hazard.

EVO is simple to install and use - even for the least tech savvy person. It can easily
be mounted on the dashboard and is fully portable so it can be transported between
cars.

Updating is simple. Drivers just connect EVO to the internet via the supplied update
cable and follow the prompts on their PC. The free trial membership also entitles
drivers to regular Road Sense email alerts that lets them know when and where
locations have been updated, an electronic road safety newsletter and priority
1300 access to Sentinel’s customer care centre. Following the free six-month trial,
optional updates are as little as $9.95 a month or $129 a year
