Live Tracking comes standard

bullet In addition to GPS navigation, CoPilot Live 7 also provides real-time tracking using a connected phone or Pocket PC's built-in GPRS mobile internet connection.
bullet Friends, family, and colleagues will be able to monitor your progress, send you messages, and even enter new destinations in real-time wherever you are, via the internet.

CoPilot Live reports its position using the GPRS Mobile Internet.  The service itself is free of charge, although you will incur charges for the GPRS data from your mobile operator.  With GPRS, you only pay for the amount of data that is downloaded rather than the time spent connected.  It is possible to manage those costs from within CoPilot's Live settings by selecting how frequently a position is reported.  The more frequent the reporting, the more data used.
