External Antennas

Six models available, MK-76, SM-76, RA-50, RA45 or RV-76. All suitable for marine or automotive use. All units (except MK-76 3m) sold with 5m of coax and mounting bracket. 
A 5m cable is needed to install an aerial from a bull bar or snorkel to the dashboard. 3m is NOT enough.

bulletMK-76 - small, light suitable for hiking and automotive use.
bulletSM-76 - Low voltage unit suitable for most handheld GPS and GPS peripherals (eg CF gps units)
bulletRA-50 - Re-radiating unit suitable for all GPS units without an external aerial connector, eg Garmin 12, Etrex, Magellan Meridian and eXplorist series. New model with 1-1.5m re-radiating range.
bulletRA-45 - no longer available
bulletRV-76 - specially designed for Marine use but will work in almost all other applications.

MK-76 A$49 The worlds smallest external aerial? Extremely small (about the size of a ten cent coin!), high gain, rugged, extremely low power (12ma) and low cost. Click here to see full spec sheet. Comes with either a BNC  (eg 45XL, GPS II+),  right angle MCX (eg 12XL) or SMB (Magellan). Maximum cable length is 3m, NOT normally enough to go from a bullbar to a dashboard on a 4WD.

RA-50 A$119 Bought a GPS without an external aerial connection (eg Garmin Nuvi range, Hema Navigator, VMS Touring) and now wish you had one that did? Well here's the answer. This aerial connects to 12v via a cigarette plug and has a built in re-radiating amplifier. The re-radiating aerial is placed near the GPS unit.
